Waltz

kiss me

warmly caress

soft breath upon my nape

show me the depth of your caring

slow dance

Awaiting

pre spring

crocus in snow

fresh smell of melting ice

too early for buds or greening—

Youth

small steps

wee prancing feet

anticipate then pounce

frolic interspersed with naptime

sweet youth
