A Seasonal Message


I was thinking about Christmas here in Phoenix and thought I would share my poetic thoughts. Here is my poem, enjoy.

Desert Xmas

The

streets

are crowded,

the reason two-fold,

Christmas approaches, folks flee cold.

Snowbirds and Santa

congestion

now bring.

Oh

Boy!

Give

us

eggnog

spiked with rum;

songs of drummer boy.

Santa's landing gear will deploy—

he drives a hybrid

sleigh-a-cart

and rolls

out

Joy!
